Meet the Team
Welcome to First Feedings! We are a mother-daughter duo committed to supporting parents to meet their feeding goals.
Brianna Krall, IBCLC, CCC-SLP
Brianna is a certified lactation consultant (IBCLC), licensed speech-language pathologist, and mother of two (with baby number three on the way). She combines professional expertise with real-life parenting experience to offer families thoughtful, practical, and evidence-based support throughout their feeding journey.
With a background in pediatric feeding therapy, Brianna has worked with a wide range of infants—from typically developing babies to those with complex medical needs. As a speech-language pathologist, she developed a deep understanding of oral motor development, swallowing function, and how structure and function impact feeding. This knowledge directly informs her lactation work, especially in cases involving tongue tie, oral tension, bottle refusal, and other feeding challenges.
Brianna believes there's no one “right” way to feed a baby—only what’s right for your family. Whether you’re exclusively breastfeeding, pumping, combo-feeding, or navigating more involved feeding plans, she offers personalized, compassionate care to help you meet your goals and feel confident along the way.
Melody Stoker, IBCLC, PTA
Melody is a certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) and licensed pediatric physical therapist assistant with over a decade of experience working with infants and their families. As a mother of four adult children and a proud “Lolli” to three grandchildren, she brings not only clinical skill but also the wisdom and empathy that come from years of lived experience.
Her unique dual background in lactation and pediatric physical therapy gives her a truly holistic approach to infant feeding. Melody specializes in assessing how a baby’s body—muscle tone, head and neck control, posture, and tension—can influence latch, milk transfer, and overall feeding comfort. She is especially skilled in working with babies experiencing feeding challenges related to body tension, oral restrictions (such as tongue and lip tie), and positioning difficulties.
In her physical therapy work, Melody has supported a wide range of infants, including those with torticollis, prematurity, birth trauma, and developmental delays. She brings this same thoughtful, hands-on approach to her lactation support, helping families find feeding solutions that take the whole baby into account—not just the mouth.
At First Feedings, Melody is passionate about meeting families where they are. Whether you're breastfeeding, pumping, bottle-feeding, or managing complex feeding concerns, she provides compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to your unique journey. Her goal is to empower parents with the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to feed their babies with comfort and connection.
